- Duct tape is like the "force". It has a light side. It has a dark side and it holds the universe together. I've even flown on a plane that had a hole in the side of an engine patched with duct tape. It held for the whole 3 hour flight.

- I would much rather drive than fly anywhere but driving isn't always possible. Flying is horrible. The last time I flew, I had to sit sideways because my legs didn't fit in the space provided and they want to remove more space? Bye Bye American Airlines.

- During and after hurricane Sandy, when we were out of power for days my land-line phone was our (and the neighbors) lifeline to the world. Without power, cell phones and other e-devices couldn't be charged, and cordless phones didn't work. I'll keep my land-line for a while.
